Chrissy J, MD

Chrissy J, MD knew from childhood that she wanted to be a doctor, the big question was how to get there. She graduated high school with distinguished honors and began the path to the MD.  Chrissy J, MD achieved her dream at the young age of 26 and is now a Family Physician serving the underserved. and one of the most respected medical centers in the world.  She utilizes the skills that she’s developed from her extensive leadership experiences and research background to advocate for equity in all spaces- health and otherwise.

Experiences

 Chrissy J, MD is an award winning champion for health equity.  Having served as the 52nd National President of the Student National Medical Association as well as the National Director of WEE women's organization and in several regional and local capacities, Dr. Chrissy has had the opportunity to implement equity programming that has touched the lives of thousands. Dr. Chrissy also has experience with strategic planning, organizational development, and team building. Whether in the classroom of less than10 or national curricula and research, she has the tools to invigorate teams and create more equitable and inclusive spaces.

Dr. Chrissy's speaking talents have been requested across the country including invitations to speak at The White House, National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine, and on 'The Hill' for congressional briefings. She has been honored on national news media, academic websites, and blogs alike.  Chrissy is well known for bringing her bubbly personality and passionate rhetoric to advocate for the needs of vulnerable populations both within organizational systems and society.
